18th – Sat – BB’s Car Club “Halloween Party” Cruz-In – at the Kyova Tri-State Mall on US Rt. 60 west of Ashland, Kentucky – Registration ($5) opens at 2 PM, cruz-in is from 4 PM to 9 PM – Door prizes awarded throughout the event with the Grand Door Prize presented at the end of the night, 50/50 drawing, music – For more information, call Jim at 606-922-6647 or Ed at 304-544-1645

18th – Sat – Santa Cruz 2014 – at the Putnam County Bank parking lot (next to McDonald’s) in Hurricane, WV – 12 Noon to 4 PM – Entry fee = a new, unwrapped toy or more, cash donations welcome, too! – Music, door prizes, games, concessions available courtesy of the Buffalo Church of the Nazarene – Event sponsored by the Nitro Antique Car Club (NACC) – All toys collected will be distributed to needy children by the Nitro Mission Team – Rain date Sunday, October 19th, 1 PM to 5 PM

18th – Sat – Down on the Farm Car Show – at Camp Virgil Tate on Rocky Fork Road near Sissonville, WV – 9 AM to 2 PM – Dash plaques to first 100 entries, music, games, food, Chinese auction – Trophies to top 35 cars – Hosted by the Classic Steel Hot Rod Association & the Kanawha County Farm Bureau – For more information, call Charles at 304-543-3825

18th – Sat – End of Summer Cookout/Cruise-in – at 907 Hinkley Hollow Road, just off State Rt. 139, north of Portsmouth, Ohio (last road on the right before the traffic light at Rosemount Rd.) – 2 PM ‘til the last car leaves! – Bring a covered dish, a good appetite, chairs and your hotrod or bike (plenty of parking!) – Volley ball, corn-hole, free Wi-Fi, bonfire – Presented by the Ohio River Street Rodders – For more information, email mullinsradiator@roadrunner.com


21st – Tue – C-K AutumnFest Parade – Downtown Ceredo, WV – Parade begins at 6 PM – Visit the website at www.CKAutumnFest.com for a registration form for the parade and a complete schedule of activities


23rd-25th – Thu-Sat – Somernites Cruise-In “Tri-Five Chevys & Hot Rods” – in downtown Somerset, Kentucky -- All events are FREE * Thursday: Tune-up Cruise-In 7 PM to ??? at the new Steak ‘n Shake at light 16B on Highway 27 * Friday: Early Bird Pepsi Meet & Greet/Q97, Noon to 2 PM at Danny’s Rod Shop, approx 2.5 miles north of Somerset on US 27 – Friday Night Thunder, 6 PM to 10 PM at the Somerset Mall (stoplight #23 on US 27) – Live music, prizes, inflatables for the kids, loud pipe contests * Saturday: Morning Fun Run meets at Hardee’s South (stoplight #22 on US 27 South) at 8 AM includes free breakfast for those participating. October destination is Cumberland Falls State Park -- fun run departs at 9 AM sharp – Cruise-IIn gates open downtown at 1 PM – Blocks and blocks of show cars & trucks! Lots of vendor displays to shop for new performance & restoration parts, music, free shuttle busses to local shopping centers! 25th – Sat – C-K AutumnFest Cruise-In on the Plaza 2014 – on the Plaza in Ceredo, WV – Registration ($5) opens at 9 AM, cruise-in from Noon to 5 PM – Cars, trucks & motorcycles welcome! – Door prize drawings throughout the day, oldies music & grand prize courtesy of 93.7 The Dawg – Cruise-in sponsored by Reyburn’s Auto Service – Grand Prize 5 days/4 nights stay in Pigeon Forge, TN – Trophy awarded to the club with the most members registered at the cruise-in
